My first car, a 1961 Chevy Belair. First engine rebuild too and also put in a new interior.
My second car, a 1969 'Cuda 340 that I bought for $1600 in 1970. It didn't look like this when I bought it though and it sure as heck wasn't as quick.

Did a first rate job rebuiliding this motor thanks to a machine shop friend who was into racing MOPAR big time. I think the stock 340 engine had 275 HP and when we got done with the rebuild it was at least 500.

I could make one pass loping through the local A&W and then I would have to get back on the street and get some air to the engine to cool it down enough for another pass through the root beer stand. :-) And, it would just barely run on Sunoco 260 as the compression was just shy of 13:1.
Vehicle #4, a '61 Ford Econoline van.
Lots of body work inside and out. (Notice the "FJB 5" plate in the window. I must have swiped it from my Dad's car, Frank J. Bayer.)
After I sold the 'Cuda, I bought this 1970 Triumph Bonneville.
A shot from above our little apartment in Pensacola while going through flight training.
Car #5, a 1977 Datsun 280Z that Jen took delievery of for me while I was at AOCS during the summer of 1977. She kept it in my grandma's garage (shown here) until I was commissioned and came back to Ohio for the wedding. Just about killed her not to drive it while I was away, too. :-)
Wedding day.
