16SEP09 - My flying partner came home with me for the weekend layover and he was up and about first on Monday morning. When I finally got out of the rack he told me he thought we had an attack of Armyworms in the back yard and as it turns out, he was correct. I won't bore you with the details but there were bazillions of them over the entire back yard and reading up on them indicated they can wipe out a lawn in no time flat.

So, I did a high-speed mow while Jen and my friend, Mike, went out to find a sprayer rig and some pestitide. They got a great deal on this model from the local feed store and Mike and I quickly assembled it. Unfortunately, we rant out of time and had to drive back to Harlingen to finish the trip.
