Finally, when the shower project was complete, Jen and I hooked up the lawn trailer to the golf cart and moved the dirt that we removed for the shower bed to the spots where the trees had been removed. I still have to dig out the mound from the big Hackberry and cut out some roots manually, but I didn't want that stump grinder to tear up the twenty square feet of good sod just to get the roots.

The view to the west is quite different now but it definitely takes less time to trim around the trees and less time to mow the side yard. Plus, I think the grass is doing better with more sun so all in all, it was money well spent.
