16AUG07 - This Hackberry was the largest tree in the yard and while not as nice as a Live Oak, because of its location on the west side, it did provide a good bit of shade for that side of the house. Unfortunately, over the years the prevailing southeasterly winds combined with the sandy soil caused it to begin to lean. Eventually we decided it had to come down and while I PROBABLY could have done it myself, I took the smarter and safer route. I hired a tree service company. |
